The Knut care bed (b) has a side rail height of 78 cm. Like all beds in this series, it has a four-panel folding sliding door. Electrically adjustable side rails can be fitted on request to relieve you in everyday nursing care or also, brand new, available with the "hide away" side rail.

Advantages of the "hide away" side rail

Knut (b) beds can also be equipped with the side rail "hide away".

  • Operation: Operation via safety grip recesses is simple and does not require any effort.
  • Settings: All four height settings can be flexibly regulated.
  • Safety and free space: The side rail simply "disappears" under the bed and thus offers more free space for care.

Advantages of the electric side rail

All Knut beds can be equipped with electrically adjustable side rails. But what advantages do they bring and is it worth it at all?

  • Operation at the touch of a button: Operation is simple and does not require any effort.
  • Infinitely adjustable: All settings can be regulated individually and flexibly.
  • Safety: To prevent uncontrolled opening or adjustment of the bed, the operation can be locked.
  • Short adjustment times: The side rail can be adjusted in a reasonable time.
  • Conformity: Like all SAVI beds, Knut (b) is also compliant with international bed standards.

Safety

At SAVI, we know that children with disabilities need a special level of safety. So we make sure that they do not injure themselves while sleeping. For this reason, all our beds have a minimum side rail height of 60 cm (according to DIN regulations). Thanks to the childproof lock, your child cannot accidentally get out of the bed.

Stability & construction

Children's care beds from SAVI are known for their stable construction and careful workmanship. The wood we use for our products is treated in accordance with DIN standards (safety for toys). In addition, thanks to the coating, it is resistant to liquids and reliably withstands everyday care. Beds, like Knut (b) in this case, are designed for a person weight of up to 150 kg.
